Felipe Massa and the Ferrari team were already beginning to celebrate when their hopes were crushed as Lewis finished 5th to snatch the title from within their grasps. Successfully steering a beam of light around 27 km of tube marks a historic step forward for the scientists at CERN. When fully up to speed the beam will go around the entire ring 11,000 times in just 1 sec. Then they will send one around the other way and get the two beams to collide. Bang or maybe Big Bang and hey presto a new world begins. Or as the scientist Prof Otto fears, a Black Hole is created and starts to consume the planet because of it's immense gravitational pull. A Specialist Gear Cutting Service has now been added to the range of services offered at Redline with specials, prototypes and standard production gears being produced in all materials and as normal being turned around in rapid time.

Redline have joined in the space programme by becoming an approved supplier to the European Space Laboratory. Already a number of critical components for gymbles and gyroscopes have been successfully  supplied and production is now underway for a series of testing rigs.
